| Market At the Market you can sell your bushels for gold or purchase bushels with the gold you have. When a transaction occurs at the market and your gold or bushels return, you will receive a message in your Kingdom News.
Wagons: In order to carry goods to the market, you must have wagons. In the Market area, you may build a wagon for 500 gold. Each wagon takes three days to build. Each wagon is rather large and can carry 2,500 bushels or 10,000 gold pieces. One wagon cannot carry a combination of bushels and gold. Wagons take two days to travel to the intended kingdom and two days to return. You may have no more wagons than half the total of your non-military population.
Going to Market: Before heading to the market, you must tell your creatures what to load into the wagons. Simply enter the number of gold or bushels you wish to send in the appropriate field and click send. The maximum amount of bushels or gold you may send is displayed.
At The Goodbeast Market: Goodbeast kingdoms only send their wagons to the goodbeast markets. At goodbeast markets, one wagon of gold is traded for one wagon of bushels and one wagon of bushels is traded for one wagon of gold. However, a wagonload at the goodbeast market consists of only 9,000 gold pieces and 2250 bushels, after the market commodity fees.
At The Vermin Market: Similarly, vermin kingdoms only send their wagons to the vermin markets. At vermin markets, one wagon of gold is also traded for one wagon of bushels and one wagon of bushels is likewise traded for one wagon of gold. However, a wagonload at the vermin market consists of only 8,500 gold pieces and 2125 bushels, after the market commodity fees.
At The Open Market:
Vermin and goodbeasts alike may send up to two caravans of up to 25 wagons to the open market every 12 days. At the open market, there are no commodity fees. Each wagon of bushels sent will return with 10,000 gold coins and each wagon of gold will return with 2,500 bushels, regardless of alignment. However, there is a small chance that your goods may be stolen at the open market, and your entire caravan of wagons and proceeds lost.
Trade Agreements: When you have a trade agreement with someone (see Diplomacy) you can send them bushels and gold, provided you have the resources required, and wagons to transport them. You can also send them recruits, up to 25 per game day, at the cost of a 100 gold per recruit.
